Wild West Taylor Western Weekend at Liberty Sanctuary
About this event
A Weekend Of Understanding Horses with Equine Clinician, West Taylor Liberty Sanctuary is thrilled to welcome back West & Kami Taylor for a weekend of workshops designed to help us understand the horse, how they think and behave, how that impacts development, and what horses teach us about ourselves. We will cap the weekend off with a native crafts workshop taught by West's wife and artist, Kami. Space is limited so please don't wait to sign up! West Taylor is a nationally recognized expert equine behaviorist with over 15 years of hands-on experience working with wild mustangs and troubled horses using science-based horsemanship. From his ranch at the base of Utah’s Fish Lake Mountains, West has dedicated thousands of hours to studying horse behavior at its purest form. His research focuses on the connection between a horse’s ability to relax and learn versus becoming stressed, anxious, or shut down. This deep understanding of the horse’s nervous system and emotional state forms the foundation of science-based horsemanship, a groundbreaking approach that can transform relationships between horses and humans -- and allows us to reflect on how this benefits our relationships with others in our daily lives.
