Inverted Florarium is an art installation at Center for the Arts that explores ecology, resilience, and perspective through softness, inversion, and the playful reimagining of a natural form. A large bloom, inspired by Wyoming’s state flower – the Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja spp.) — hovers, upside down, above a field of colorful blossoms. The flower’s tendrils connect and tether the shapes below. The surrounding glass courtyard functions as a terrarium, framing the installation as both ecosystem and specimen.
