Matt Flint doesn't begin with a plan. No sketches, no predetermined composition, just canvas, paint, and a process as intuitive as the landscapes that shaped him. Raised in rural Missouri and now living in Wyoming's Wind River Mountains, Flint has spent a lifetime in close study of the natural world, its textures, its rhythms, its constant state of becoming.
