About this event

Dr. Daniel Horn, Professor of Geology and Geophysics, will share how rivers and glaciers formed the bedrock of our mountains, providing the wonderful terrain we enjoy skiing, hiking and biking. He will also include the dangers we face living in the Wasatch region, with potential earthquakes and landslides. Event is free, all are welcome! Newcomers Club was established in 1995 as a non-profit to help all resdients of Summit & Wasatch Counties learn about and become involved in their community through social, educational, sporting and travel activities.
