More than 300 years ago, a series of investigations and hearings led to convictions of witchcraft. Prepare for Halloween when experienced lecturer Deborah Jennings gives a talk and slide presentation about how American colonial life, church politics, family feuds and hysterical children all led to this unusual period of history. Deborah will talk about how fear, gossip, snooping and tattling resulted in accusations, persecution, imprisonment and executions.
